As the Web Admin, I’m an integral support for multiple departments within the company. Below is a list of some of my responsibilities.

  • Web builder > I have built and launched over 100 Magento ecommerce websites. As a result, I have extensive knowledge of domain registrars (domains and DNS records) and hosting servers.
  • Magento administrator > The company’s 600+ Magento websites require continuous updates. I have configured numerous payment gateways (PayPal, AuthorizeNet, Amazon Pay, and etc), custom delivery setups, tax setups, coupons/discounts, and etc.
  • Quality analyst & assurance > A large part of website configuration is about research and development. I perform a lot of troubleshooting, analyzing, data gathering, and testing processes to make sure the setups are correct.
  • Project manager > As the sole WordPress specialist, I have built, launched, and routinely maintain the company’s 10+ WordPress sites that are used for organizational purposes. Furthermore, I’m the lead designer for one of the site.
  • Application support > As a liaison for multiple departments, I manage communication with website issues and projects.
  • Subject matter expert > Because of my reliability and knowledge, I am one of the company’s “functions captains” aka experts on Magento configuration. I’ve documented numerous standard operating procedures (SOPs) for my team.

Web / Digital Designer

Feb 2018 – Apr 2019

My main responsibility as one of the Web / Digital Designers involved designing and coding complete ecommerce websites while adhering to the company’s proprietary CSS framework. My background in user experience, marketing, visual design, and front-end development allowed me to create successful and professional websites for the company’s growing list of 600+ clients.

  • UX design > I’ve built user experience boards to conceptualize layout and design for webpages. Most of these mockups turned into complete websites and production-ready templates.
  • Developer > My strong knowledge in HTML and CSS allow me to code dynamic and responsive websites.
  • Project lead > I’ve rebuilt unique brand landing pages such as Whirlpool, Samsung, Ashley Furniture, and Serta. Pages are responsive, informative, and conform to the brands’ design standards.
  • Advertising > When I’m not building websites, I’m designing digital marketing materials such as display banners and promotional artworks that are featured on client websites.
  • Video editor > One of the website features that I integrated is video playback. I’ve edited client and brand videos into short clips and animated gifs that are used as spotlights and looping background videos on websites.

Sep 2014 – Feb 2018

My main responsibility revolved around maintaining and developing the company’s main ecomm website and its other 4+ websites. Secondary responsibility included designing and creating graphic artworks, visual marketing materials, and advertisements.

  • Web builder > I developed and designed the ecomm site when it ran on X-Cart and after it was migrated to Magento. Furthermore, I migrated and developed the company’s WordPress sites.
  • Web administrator > I performed a wide range of tasks that include setting payment gateways, shipping, coupons, implementing security updates and measures, performing quality assurance, and coordinating email marketing.
  • Graphic designer > My works were mostly digital. They include site banners, social post graphics (static and animated), blog featured images, and email marketing graphics. There were some print-based works done for special promotions like influencer marketing.
  • Advertising > In collaboration with the media team, I pitched concepts and designed mockups for sale promotions. Many of the ideas turn into final works.
  • Tech/web support > I worked closely with the Customer Service department by providing tech support and troubleshooting site issues. Customer satisfaction was a top-priority.

My main responsibility included planning and designing advertising displays. Secondary responsibility included designing and maintaining the department’s website. 

  • Graphic designer > I created promotional displays for the department’s seasonal productions. The large displays were featured by the box office and posters / flyers were distributed across the school.
  • Web designer > I performed routine content and visual updates.
